In 2001, June Pratik released his debut album of Modern Bengali songs title "SWAPNO BIKRI AACHE" from Sony Music. Till today this cassette is one of the most popular album in the market and one of its song "DOORE BOHUDURE" is a major hit amongst the music lovers. This may also be mentioned that Pratik is the first solo artiste in Sony Music from the Bengali repertoire.
